We look forward to a bright future, when we will be able not only to
invite all people who wants to find the true faith, but also to
work for community, providing it support though our health care,
education, and charitable programs. We cordially invite you to participate
in our continued growth.
Our Plans for the future... involve
building a new temple which houses two chapels, one dedicated to
St. James, Brother of the Lord and to the healing Saints and the
other to St.Irene, the Great Martyr as well as to other Holy Women.
Designs for a fellowship hall and ministry center are already in
progress. This building will house administrative offices, educational
facilities, a library, a center for parish ministries as well as
a grand fall for fellowship and special functions.
We later plan to construct St. Basil's Home - a personal care home
to those who need more assistance and supportive care.
Finally,
we hope to establish two independent living centers, allowing residents
to live in a community that provides increased access and involvement
in parish life.
Q. HOW DOES THE "GIVE US A FOOT" PROGRAM WORK?
A. It provides a tangible way for donors to envision
just how their gift will be utilized.
In order to complete the new church building, we
determined that the total construction cost per square foot is $150.00.
The scope of the project equals 6,500 total square feet.
Therefore, a person standing
for a service occupies an average of four square feet - for a total
cost of $600.00. Someone who sits, occupies six square feet - at
a total cost of $900.00. We offer this information in order to help
you make a more informed decision about how your donation could
be spent
We are asking for more then just a handout. WE want your FEET! Through
your generous support, we will be able to provide ample room for
many to wish to stand (or sit) and offer their prayers in Gods holy
house.
If you wish to donate, please, fill the "FEET FORM" .
In addition to our gratitude for your support, the
names of those you list here on your "Feet Form" will
be actually written on the support beams of the new church prior
to its completion. In this way, your loved ones will constantly
be remembered not only as a support to you but for us as well.
